AESTHETIC SUSTAINABILITY

We believe the most responsible product is one that doesn’t need replacing.

That’s why our designs are guided by aesthetic sustainability: we don’t follow seasonal trends, but create timeless pieces made to last year after year.

With a focus on form, function, and durable materials, each product remains beautiful and relevant over time.

PAPER

Paper is at the heart of what we do. We use high-quality Swedish paper sourced from one of the world’s most sustainable paper mills.

Across the entire process — from raw material sourcing to delivery — the shared goal is to minimise environmental impact.

The mill operates with low water usage, extensive recycling systems, and some of the lowest emission levels in the industry, which is something we value deeply.

The result is paper that feels beautiful to write on and is made with care for the resources behind it.

PRODUCTION

We work with carefully selected print partners across Europe, and an increasing share of our products is produced in Denmark at Nordic Swan-labelled printing houses.

Producing closer to home helps reduce transport while giving us confidence that both environmental standards and working conditions are in place.

It also allows for closer collaboration and attention to detail throughout the process.

MATERIAL & LONGEVITY

Every component is chosen with durability and everyday use in mind.

Covers are selected for strength and tactile quality
Binding methods are chosen to extend product lifespan
Materials are tested to ensure they age well with use

Small details — like paper weight, binding structure, and finish — all play a role in making products that can be used again and again.

PACKAGING & REUSE

We aim to keep packaging simple, protective, and as resource-efficient as possible.

We prioritise paper-based packaging where it can protect the product
We continuously look for ways to reduce material use
We reuse boxes and protective filling from our own production when shipping customer orders
Packaging received from other brands is reused whenever possible

By extending the life of materials already in circulation, we help ensure they are used fully before being recycled.
